Hi everyone, Another batch mate found us through Google.. and yes a lot of you wanted to know her whereabouts.. wonder no more because I got this email from Charito Moreno-DyTiapco!!  Hello Malou,  I commend your initiative in establishing this blog which I chanced upon on Google.  My husband, who is an Ateneo Alumni, regularly communicates with his gradeschool and high school classmates through Yahoo and it gave me the idea to search for our old "alma mater."  What I found is a well managed blog which is active and growing.  I am so excited and happy to see faces of old classmates come alive before my eyes on this computer monitor, most especially my old best friend, Virginia Guevarra.  Thank God to the internet!  I would appreciate it if you could give me her e-mail address or telephone no. so I could get in touch with her. I immigrated to the US in 1984 and have lived here in Albquerque, New Mexico since 1996.  Before coming to Albuquerque, we have resided in Anahe

Simplicity .. Still In Fashion As Time Goes By Of all the many things I remember from the past, the era of the 60’s point to the direction of warm sentimentality, contentment and simplicity. The cyber world of high technology was not in our midst yet, nor even in our dreams.  Those were the days when we didn’t have to worry about lugging around gadgets such as many mobile phones, laptop, musical player like iPod and the newest gadgets or devices in the market. Those were the days, when we ate simple and healthy food; didn’t have to exert the effort in keeping up with the latest fashion and technology; didn’t have to pretend to be with the “IN” crowd to be accepted; didn’t worry much about vanity and appearances; but we did share innocent jokes, stories, childish laughter; we focused more on happy relationships rather than possessions plus being satisfied with what we had or did not have. My apologies to Louie Capoy who sent this email on July 22, 2011 through our rmchs1970@gmail.com account but which I just opened yesterday.   "Hi to all. I am Ma. Luisa Umbal (now Capoy). I belong to IV-3 of Batch 1970. I accidentally came across the site of Batch 1970 and glad to read all the write ups about our batchmates. Nice looking at your pictures and I also look forward seeing you again in person.. It's been a long time". Louie is now married with two pretty grown-up  daughters. Manny Palafox Jr is the new President

Hello classmates. It's been awhile. Forgive the delay in posting new information about our activities, new found batchmates, Feb 4, 2012 reunion planning,  etc. Been terribly busy the past few months. I will try to get things updated though soon. One important announcement that we need to inform everyone is the recent resignation of Vixi Abat as President. He had to let go of the Presidential reins because of  very personal reasons. Accordingly, the batch organization with the required quorum unanimously approved the nomination of Manny Palafox Jr., as our new President, during our most recent batch meet on July 30, 2011, held at RMCHS premises. Congratulations to Manny  and Good Luck. Also new officers were nominated: Leo Valmorida - Auditor Abraham Espiritu - PRO Rey Bugarin - Sgt-at-Arms or Security Officer Please find the July 30, 2011 Minutes of the Meeting  here and the listing of the new set of officers here . And here's to everyone working towards the Feb
