Glen Pantaleon

Image
Glen in black shirt waiting for  lunch to be served  at Gloria Maris with very good friends,  Jay and Abe Donning our batch color Glen Pantaleon is an avid golfer, so we all know that by now. He does tournaments and is in fact here in the Philippines,   for R&R,  if only for a brief while,  and  to do just that. On December 4, 2010, the day of the alumni homecoming, he hosted lunch for class and batchmates,  initiating somehow  a sparkling aperitif of  the excitement expected  for  later that night.. True enough,  it was truly a memorable homecoming.. Glen  had generous gleeful smiles for every batch mate he met;  toasting with the rest of the guys,  bear hugging, exuding feelings of genuine warmth ..  enveloped in   those killer  debonair looks..  On with  the homecoming dinner,  Glen was so thoughtful and gracious  to gift every batch70 table ...

Ayda Zerrudo Zoleta

Image
Another new find from Batch70 is Ayda. I am sure she is classmate to one or more of us.. she is now widowed and enjoys some of her time travelling.. we are not sure where she is based but  the photos below were taken in the United States sometime this year. We hope we could add some more details about Ayda but for now, let's just get her on board :-D Welcome Ayda.

Isabelita Viray

Image
Isabelita is a CPA and works with a multinational company. Apparently, she's a very  busy executive because it took her awhile before she was able to join the Dec 11, 2010 Batch Christmas Party. But glad she made the effort. Thanks and Welcome batchmate! Isabelita with batchmates Lanie, Dorri and Krish

Cecille Guillermo

Image
Cecille Guillermo is now based in Edmonton , Alberta, Canada and works as a financial analyst. She is both a batchmate as well as a classmate during my elementary grades. She told me that she is happy she has this opportunity to re-connect with high school class and batchmates, not to mention the elation of also hooking-up with elementary classmates. With eldest sister in Michigan

Krish Acu

Image
Krish Acu First time Krish came on board was during the Grand Alumni Homecoming held last December 4, 2010. He was introduced to almost everyone and we'd like to believe he did had fun. It's not clear who connected to Krish first but more important is,  he now joins us. Despite the short notice, Krish  found the time to squeeze in our batch Christmas party in his holiday schedule, again to be with all of us at the batch christmas party last December 11, 2010. WELCOME Krish! That's all the info we have right now about Krish. Krish with the rest of Batch70 during our Christmas Party

Dr. Essie Antonio

Image
She is now Dr. Essie Antonio Diaz. A pulmonologist with a clinic at the Kidney Center, among others. We thank her, that she was able to find the time to attend our Grand Reunion last December 4, 2010, despite her very busy schedule. And thanks to Goody Sabasa Esguerra and Dr Salome Senga Lo, we are finally re-connected with the good doctor. Doc Essie at the elem classmates meet-up for Gie Guevara Acelar Unfortunately, she cannot find the time for social networking;  and intimated she doesn't even do email. Wow tough.. these doctors lead a hectic kind of life. From what I gathered Doc Essie has three children; two are in college and I believe one is in high school. She is married to a man of the law, just not sure if he is a judge.. It is my hope that with this recent reconnection,  we will be able to get her to attend some of our batch meet-ups and other activities resulting from batch plans and goals. Here with classmate Chuchi Estanislao at the 2010 RMCHSAAI...

Danilo Palima

Image
Our new found batchmate is  Danilo Palima who I searched through an fb post by Zeny Abdon . An ensuing fb message and a request for friend add  was sent by yours truly. Luckily he was online and presto. Thanks so much to batchmate Danilo for accepting. This is a guess but perhaps his nickname is Dan or Danny? We will soon find out. His fb gives out his employment info but I am not sure if he would like to share that with the public since our blog is published publicly. I was thinking if you are on fb, and becomes a friend,  most likely you will have access to his info.. so there.. we'll see if he shares more info about himself; how he's been from high school .. to now. I understand that he is also classmate to Baby Berona aka Veronica de Guzman. Cheers to Danny Palima!

Juanito Macaspac

Image
Lito as he is called now, is a basketball referee and lives in Marikina City. He joined us during the grand alumni homecoming last December 4, 2010.  Late  that homecoming night, he met  Dr Salome Lo; and what small world it is,  because it seems that some of  Lito's relatives are friends with Doc Lo's cousins. Leftmost, Lito  joining Batch70 officers and balikbayan Glen Pantaleon Lito with Wife

Reuel Aguila - RMCHSAAI Distinguished Alumni Awardee 2010

La...

Joe Apostol

Image
Sharing with everyone, our newest find -- Joe Apostol. He sent me an email. (I took the liberty in deleting some information for privacy reasons. You know how it is about sharing information on the web). Joe with Wife To begin,  Joe says he is "so excited that I will be meeting with some of my former classmates and batchmates, and can't wait for the year 2012 to come, it brings back some fun memories. I was scanning some of the photos in RMCHS batch site, and to my amazement I could only recall 1 or 2 faces, not to mention their names, but it didn't matter, it brought smile to my face as I was scanning them". Further, he intimates that he "might remember" batch and classmates, "more when I see them in person". Joe continues by saying, "I don't think many batchmates remember me either from the high school days for I kept a low profile then".  Joe often  goes to "California for a vacation", and  says he "could...

A  Gie-full  Afternoon to Treasure by Chelit Bataclan November 28th, 2010 was a red-letter day for Batch’70 of RMCHS, because the group  organized a get- together for a batchmate from the US of A.  This person wanted to see as many batchmates as possible.  For  most of us, it would be the very first time to see her again after 40 (!) years.  A couple of  batchmates have met each other before this fateful day, but still this event can give one apprehension, excitement,  curiosity and gladness. Gie = Fun and Laughter The mere fact that we will all be meeting this balikbayan friend  gave us  a sense of joyful anticipation.  And speaking for myself,  I  was filled with all kinds of mixed emotions.  Should I attend this get -together or not? I was contemplating on not going because I had a previous commitment to fulfill.  It was a good thing my elders allowed me to go because they said I shouldn’t ...
