A Reunion, a get- together? Ano at saan ba ito?

Perhaps taken in late 1977 or 1978. It was supposed to be a reunion of classmates from sections one and two, held at Lorna Callanta's house. If this is Lorna's house at 12th Avenue in Murphy, this must be the one that was burned sometime in the 80's which took the life of Lorna's son, a new Eng grad from UP Diliman (sorry guys, nalungkot tuloy kayo). I was in touch with Lorna in the late 90's. Nag bi- business-business kami. I still see her around Ali Mall. Last time was after Ondoy. I salute Lorna Callanta for her courage, determination and will to survive the challenges of life.. Dapat kasama natin sya pag nag reunion tayo sa 2011 or 2012.

I am not sure if I was there, though. I could not really recall one bit about this get together.. O baka naman kasi matanda na ako at ulyanin na..

Rolando Mendoza

Rollie and Family I think, Rolando 'Rollie' Mendoza was introduced to me by Veron de Guzman. I had quite a chat with him recently. That is quite a name, I mentioned. To be a namesake to an "infamous" man. And he says, yes, he's been teased about that for awhile. Rollie and family resides in the United States. I could guess that life's been good to him as well there; practically like all the rest of our Filipino compatriots who chose to try their luck, worked hard and succeeded. By the way, I spoke to him about our Jan or Dec 2012 Batch Reunion and Rollie  is pretty hopeful that he and wife might just join us.
