Formal Turnover of RI D3810 Donation to RMCHS

On a rainy Friday, morning, December 9, 2011,  Batch70 officers, together with our dear supporters from Rotary Intl D 3810 San Miguel District braved the rain to witness the formal  donation turnover to RMCHS.

Batch Officers present during the turnover: President Manny Palafox, PRO Abe Espiritu, Treasurer Baby Berona, Asst Sec Chelit Bataclan, Directors, Meds Gabriel, Linda Ruiz Homicillada, and Malou Domingo. We missed the other Officers: VP Goody Sabasa Esguerra, Auditor Leo Valmorida, Sec Chuchi Estanislao. 

Likewise, we would like to thank the School Officials headed by Principal Josefina Perlado, Admin Head Benny Valenzuela, and the rest of the Department Head Teachers for the Merienda they have so kindly prepared for everybody.

Rolando Mendoza

Rollie and Family I think, Rolando 'Rollie' Mendoza was introduced to me by Veron de Guzman. I had quite a chat with him recently. That is quite a name, I mentioned. To be a namesake to an "infamous" man. And he says, yes, he's been teased about that for awhile. Rollie and family resides in the United States. I could guess that life's been good to him as well there; practically like all the rest of our Filipino compatriots who chose to try their luck, worked hard and succeeded. By the way, I spoke to him about our Jan or Dec 2012 Batch Reunion and Rollie  is pretty hopeful that he and wife might just join us.
