My high school classmate and friend


From my collection of old photos, I found this picture of my friend Cris, who's been in the United States for a while now. I know this photo is about 30 years old. It was taken back when my friend got her university degree.

We went to the same high school but got separated when she went to a different university. Cris is very, very good in Math and Chemistry.

I used to copy her Algebra assignments and imagine me admitting it now :-) But I guess that's okey, huh?

Rolando Mendoza

Rollie and Family I think, Rolando 'Rollie' Mendoza was introduced to me by Veron de Guzman. I had quite a chat with him recently. That is quite a name, I mentioned. To be a namesake to an "infamous" man. And he says, yes, he's been teased about that for awhile. Rollie and family resides in the United States. I could guess that life's been good to him as well there; practically like all the rest of our Filipino compatriots who chose to try their luck, worked hard and succeeded. By the way, I spoke to him about our Jan or Dec 2012 Batch Reunion and Rollie  is pretty hopeful that he and wife might just join us.
